We are getting ready to ship out to Grandma's for the weekend (look for a "Going to Grandma's" post early next week to see what I pack for a weekend getaway -- spoiler alert -- we're prepared), but I just had to share some of these pictures that Griswold took last night.
And now I present to you my absolute favorite photo in the whole wide world...

Too bad he didn't get a picture of me picking it up. I would love to know what my face looks like. Not that it bothers me. Except for when it's runny...
I typically don't have Griswold take video because it's nauseating to watch. Here's one we did yesterday and even after being slowed down 50%, it still makes me a little motion sick. But it's so cute to see him knock around the balls.
The loud clacking of his tags don't help either. I certainly hope that's not how he sees things! But back to why I like the pictures he takes more than video -- there's something special about the story that pictures tell from that one precise, frozen moment in time. Like Coop taking a poop.
I will be headed out to Musikfest with my mom and my brother this weekend. I'll be the one with sugar residue all over me from shoveling funnel cake in my mouth and hunting for Mike and Ike's. Unfortunately, doggies aren't allowed there. Maybe one day pet lovers can rally and convince them that there should be a "Petplatz." For now it's okay... Coop would probably attack the Chicken Lady anyways. Have a wonderful weekend! You guys have any plans with your pups?

DeleteWhat camera are you using to snap the photos. The one of him dumping is hilarious! Gretel and Chester get some of the weirdest looks on their face too :)
ReplyDeleteThe ones in this post were taken with a GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition on a Kurgo harness (chest mount). I don't like to have that on Griswold all the time because it's bulky and I worry about the stress on his neck, so I also use the CatCam by Mr. Lee (shh. Don't tell Griswold it's for cats).
